How to play

Genshillion is a free daily trivia game about Genshin Impact, inspired by Krillion. Here is everything you need for your first dive.

What Genshillion is

Every day at midnight New York time, a new dive opens: seven prompts, the same for every player. “Name a Hydro character”, “Name a weapon you can forge at a Blacksmith”, “Name a place in Snezhnaya”… Any valid answer counts, but the rarer it is, the more it scores.

There are no accounts and nothing to install. Your progress stays in your browser, and you can play in English or Spanish.

A dive, step by step

Each prompt gives you twenty-five seconds. Type an answer and press Submit. If it doesn’t count, the game tells you why (not on the list, too vague, or a real name that doesn’t fit the prompt) and you can try again until the clock runs out.

Made a typo? The game offers a “Did you mean …?” with the closest name; tap it to take it. You can also skip a prompt you don’t know.

Once a prompt is answered, skipped or out of time, the next one is waiting. Seven prompts make a dive.

Rarity tiers

Every valid answer has a tier, from the obvious to the jackpot, and the tier sets its points.

  1. Slimeborn (Slime Condensate): The obvious answers almost everyone types. +10 points · 100 m
  2. Hilichurl Relic (Damaged Mask): The famous "clever" pick everyone reaches for, so not actually obscure. +15 points · 150 m
  3. Hero’s Legacy (Hero’s Wit): Well-known answers. +30 points · 300 m
  4. Primordial Wish (Primogem): Uncommon. +60 points · 600 m
  5. Intertwined Destiny (Intertwined Fate): The long tail of deep cuts. +85 points · 850 m
  6. Celestia’s Crown (Crown of Insight): Exactly one per prompt: a fun, reachable jackpot answer. +100 points · 1,000 m

Star Rail mode

Genshillion also has a Star Rail mode: a separate daily dive of seven Honkai: Star Rail prompts, with its own archive and stats. The clock, the tiers and the points work the same way, but your dive runs through seven worlds, from the Astral Express to Planarcadia, and each tier is named for a Star Rail item, from Trash Can to Tracks of Destiny.

  1. Trash Can (Trash Can): The obvious answers almost everyone types. +10 points · 100 m
  2. Warp Trotter (Warp Trotter): The famous "clever" pick everyone reaches for, so not actually obscure. +15 points · 150 m
  3. Traveler’s Guide (Traveler’s Guide): Well-known answers. +30 points · 300 m
  4. Stellar Jade (Stellar Jade): Uncommon. +60 points · 600 m
  5. Special Pass (Star Rail Special Pass): The long tail of deep cuts. +85 points · 850 m
  6. Tracks of Destiny (Tracks of Destiny): Exactly one per prompt: a fun, reachable jackpot answer. +100 points · 1,000 m

Depth and regions

Every point sinks you 10 m deeper. Your dive starts at the surface in Mondstadt and reaches a new region every 1,000 m: Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Natlan and finally Snezhnaya. A perfect dive, seven Celestia’s Crowns, ends 7,000 m down.

Results, sharing and streaks

When the dive is over, the results show your score, your depth and every valid answer to every prompt, rarest first, with yours marked. Once enough other players have finished, you also see how deep you went compared with them.

Share your dive with a spoiler-free emoji grid that shows your tiers but none of your answers. Play every day to build a streak: Home shows your streak, your best score and your last one.

The archive

Missed a day? Every past dive waits in the Archive. Each one can be played once, just like on its day, and then shows its results. Archive dives don’t change your streak or your Home stats.

Tips

The first answer that comes to mind is usually the first one that comes to everyone’s mind. Think one step further: a four-star instead of the five-star, a side region, an older version.

Watch the clock, but don’t panic: a quick common answer still beats running out of time.

Exactly one answer per prompt is a Celestia’s Crown. Finding it is the jackpot.
